Találkozás egy Sámánnal/Meeting a Shaman

A folyóparton találkoztunk a Sámánunkkal, hogy részt vegyünk a Föld Anya szertartáson.  A Sámánunkat Lucasnak hívták. Ősz hajú, mosolygós, bölcs öreg. A tudást az idősebb családtag adja át a fiatalnak, de senki nincs kényszerítve, hogy tovább vigye a hagyományt. A mi Sámánunk az anyukájától tanult, ő a nagybátyjától, ő megint a nagybátyjától és így tovább. Lucas pedig átadja mindazt, amit tud a gyerekeinek. 
A Föld Anya felajánlás előkészületeként Lucas leterített egy perui szőttest a folyóparton és kirakott rá olyan dolgokat, melyek Földanya kedvére valók. Virágokat, magokat, babot, rizst, kukoricát. Megjelenítette az elemeket is, a kagyló szimbolizálta a vizet, a koka levél a földet, a felajánlás elégetése a tüzet, a füst pedig a levegőt. Kirakott egy tálat, ami a boldog párkapcsolatot, az egészséget, a gazdagságot, a fejlődést szimbolizálta. Ezt kérte ő számunkra. A szertartás előtt megtisztulási ceremóniát végzett. Egy tálba rózsavizet és vizet öntött. Ebbe belemártott egy virágot és bekente vele a tenyerünket. Ezzel kellett lemosni magunkat, hogy megtisztuljunk. A felajánlás egy boldog esemény, vacsora főzés Föld Anyának. Beszélt arról, hogy a természettel összhangban, harmóniában kell élni, mert akkor barátságot tudunk kialakítani vele és a segítségünkre lesz. Az Inka hagyomány szerint a folyóknak, a hegyeknek, a földnek lelke van és tisztelettel kell bánni vele. A felajánlás elején 3 koka levelet tett a nagyujjunk és mutatóujjunk közé, ebbe kellett belelehelnünk a kívánságunkat. A hármas szám az Inka kultúrában az Eget, a Földet és a föld alatti világot, a negatív dolgokat szimbolizálja. A három koka levelet berakta a virágok alkotta kör közepébe, erre öntötte szép sorrendben a magokat, a füszereket és a terméseket. A tetejét színes cukorkával díszítette és meglocsolta rózsavízzel, majd az egészet díszes papírba csomagolta, hogy este elégesse egy szent helyen, hogy a kívánságunk eljusson a felajánlással együtt Föld Anyához. 
A szertartás után együtt ebédeltünk. Teljes meglepetésünkre másnapra felajánlásként, egy különleges Amulettet készített számunkra, ami nemcsak védelmet, boldogságot, szeretetet hoz számunkra, hanem kísér a fejlődésünk útján, azon az úton, amin eddig is jártunk s ami mellett

We met Lucas the Shaman by the river. We made an offering to Mother Earth together. Lucas is a grey haired, wise men with a happy smile on his face. He learned to be a Shaman from his mother. Her mother learned it from her uncle. Her uncle learned it from his uncle and so on. They keep the knowledge in the family, so Lucas is teaching his kids. Part of the preparation he laid a peruvian homespun on the grass and put all the offerings that Mother Earth would like - flowers, grains, seeds, beans, rice and corns - on it. Also invoked all the elements. The fan shaped shell symbolized Water, coca leaves Earth, burning the offerings symbolized Fire and smoke symbolized Air. First we made a purifying ceremony. He poured rose water and water in a bowl and dipped a flower head in it. With the help of the flower - it was red, puffy with lots of petals - he spread the liquid on both of our palms. We had to wash ourselves with it from head to toe. The offering is a happy occasion, a dinner that we cook for Mother Earth with the ingredients she loves. He talked about the importance of being balanced with nature, and how necessary it is to be in harmony with it, because that's the only way to develop a friendship with her and then she will help us. All the elements in nature had a soul, the rivers, the mountains, the Earth - the Inkas teach us. These must be treated respectfully. 
At the beginning of the offering ceremony he put 3 coka leaves between our thumb and index finger. We had to breath our desire gently  into the leaves. The number three in the Inca culture symbolize Heaven, Earth and the Underground world. He posted the coca leaves in the middle of a circle of flowers - then he added the seeds, the herbs, the spices, the beans, the rice one by one and he decorated the top with colorful candies. Finally he poured some rosewater on it. He wrapped the whole thing in a beautiful wrapping paper and  burned it in a holy place in the evening to get our desires and offerings to Mother Earth.
After the ceremony we had lunch together. Next day as a surprise he made a special charm for us, not only for protection, happiness and love but also for guiding us on our spiritual growth, and on the road on which we were already committed ourselves.
